Welcoming Dr. Arlen Meyers as Strategic Advisor to Promptus

That's why we're excited to announce that Dr. Arlen Meyers, MD, MBA is joining Promptus as a strategic advisor.

Why This Matters

If you've spent time in the Denver startup or healthcare innovation community, you already know Arlen. He's spent decades doing the hard, unglamorous work of building bridges between physicians, entrepreneurs, and the systems that turn ideas into impact.

Arlen is professor emeritus of otolaryngology, dentistry, and engineering at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, and faculty at the CU Denver Business School. He's also the founder and President/CEO of the Society of Physician Entrepreneurs (SoPE), an international no

nprofit community built around a single mission: helping people get their biomedical ideas to patients.

Our CEO, Chris, has known and respected Arlen for years as one of the steadiest community builders in the Denver ecosystem. Someone who shows up for founders, physicians, and innovators without an agenda beyond wanting to see good ideas succeed.

Over the years, Arlen has grown SoPE into a genuinely global network spanning physicians, healthcare professionals, service providers, investors, and patients, with chapters across the U.S. and internationally. It's a rare kind of ecosystem — one built on trust, education, and a shared commitment to bioentrepreneurship, and it's exactly the kind of connective infrastructure that healthcare innovation needs more of.

What Comes Next

Over the next several months, Arlen will be advising on our broader awareness, physician engagement, and investor outreach efforts, and we're exploring opportunities to collaborate on educational content and live events together. He'll be a core part of how we continue to build something bigger than the sum of its parts.

At the core of it, Arlen's involvement reflects our thesis at Promptus: healthcare innovation doesn't fail because the science is bad. It fails because the systems around the science are too slow and too disconnected. Closing that gap is the whole point of what we're building.
